Connect a MIDI keyboard and play a chord — the matching step lights up as you play. Tap ▶ Play to hear a progression (tap again to stop), turn on 🔁 Loop to have it repeat, tap any chord to hear just that one, or tap Focus on a progression to focus on just that one. Use the ‹ › under any chord to scroll its voicings — the plain triad, its inversions, and the seventh.
Each chord lasts one bar at the tempo set in the BPM box below, so chords change on the downbeat. Start the ▶ Metronome and Play will fall in on its next downbeat and stay locked to the click.
Tap any key on the wheel to hear it — the outer ring is the major key, the inner ring its relative minor. Play a chord on your MIDI keyboard and the wheel lights up where you are.
